U.S. Congressman Visits Centralina WDB Partners to Discuss Dislocated Worker Issues
Congressman Hayes was joined by US Department of Labor officials Ericka Baum and Anthony Bedell who explained the various programs and services available through USDOL funds to serve dislocated workers. Tim Peters, Legislative Director, and Richard Hudson, District Director for Congressman Hayes, worked with the Centralina WDB staff in arranging the meetings. Rowan-Cabarrus Community College, Stanly Community College and South Piedmont Community College are just a few of the many partnering organizations addressing workforce issues in the Centralina WDB region.
